An Effective Method to Colour Medical Image Enhancement

Image enhancement technology plays a very important role In image processing. By enhancing some information and restraining other information selectively, it can improve image visual effect. Colour medical image is becoming more and more significant in medical diagnosis. In this paper, an enhancement arithmetic used for colour medical image is discussed. After the enhancement based on wavelet analysis, the color space transform method is applied to the color medical image. The method can improve the image sharpness and make the image characteristics more evident. The enhancement result is useful for further analysis.
