Abstract :
In this work, time domain integral equation solution approach is presented to calculate the radiation from arbitrarily shaped, three-dimensional conducting antennas fed by a time-varying electromagnetic pulse. The antenna structure is discretized using triangular patches. Using equivalence principle, the electric field integral equation (EFIE) is formulated which is applicable to both open and closed bodies. Finally, sample results showing various geometries are presented to illustrate the versatility of this method.
