Abstract
For the distributed phased array radar, in order to locate target in the detection range, a new positioning method that based on improved MUSIC algorithm was brought forward.. The improved algorithm put the noise subspace of three parts phased array radar stations into the improved spectral function. Target´s azimuth angle and elevation angle relative to the radar associate with and the coordinate of the target by coordinate transformation. Then searching the peak in the detection range for the target location. The simulation results show, the method in single target and multi-targets location is effectiveness and superiority.
