Abstract :
The curing of THEIC-modified polyester and polyamideimide enamels under controlled thermal conditions was discussed. Real-time FTIR and FTIR microspectroscopy were employed to determine solvent evaporation, crosslinking reactions, retained solvent and degree of cure of wire samples. A possible cure mechanism was suggested based upon the findings
