Abstract :
The main regularities of the arising of the turbulent states of electromagnetic field in weakly nonlinear systems are summarized. The appearance of such states is associated with development of chaotic instabilities due to the destruction of quasiperiodic oscillations. Non-autonomous single-mode systems are studied both theoretically and experimentally. These results are applied to stability analysis of electronic oscillators and amplifiers of different wave bands. It is found that chaos can exert a signficant influence on their stability and output noise level. The conditions and mechanisms of chaos onset are analyzed.
