Abstract :
Crowd simulation for virtual environment can offer useful information to the optimal planning and design process of passenger transfer hub or other public facilities. In this paper we present an integrated navigation approach to control the movements of agents in virtual environment that mimics crowd dynamics in transfer hub. Virtual pedestrian facility model and agent´s perception knowledge model, finite state machine activity model, locomotion model for the agent navigation in virtual transfer hub were proposed. The method has been implemented in a real transfer hub Simulation and has been tested in peak-time.
