Abstract :
It is great significant for field water management of the rice to study water-demand regularities of rice under paper mulching. In order to explore the evapotranspiration characteristics of rice during various growing stage and analyze the regularities of influence on the soil water and yield of rice under paper mulching, a potted experiment under paper mulching was done in Shenyang, China, 2010. The results show that the water requirement of rice is attaining maximum in booting stage, and the water-saving effect of paper mulching is obvious (P<; 0.05) from reviving to booting stage. Paper mulching can suppress the water leakage effectively, and its effect on soil moisture content is significant. The yield and water use efficiency of rice under paper mulching improve 6.82% and 10.91% respectively than without paper mulching. Taking good usage of controlling irrigation technology and effective utilization of agricultural water resources must improve water use efficiency, which will give full play roles to saving water and increasing production of paper-mulching planting technology.
