Abstract :
Aerobic static litter composting, by using sawdust as main litter materials and adding with pig manure and pig slurry every day, under different ventilation rates of 0,0.01 m3/min and 0.02m3/min was studied in pilot scale for obtaining the best ventilation rate. The indexes such as temperature, C/N, germination index and microbial population were analyzed to examine effect of different ventilation on litter composting. Results show that: litter composting under ventilation rates of 0,0.01 m3/min and 0.02m3/min can all realize high-temperature aerobic composting, and coliform bacteria accords with hygienic standard. Ventilation can make high-temperature period prolonged, beneficial for innoxious disposal of litter composting, and ventilation rates of 0.02m3/min proved better.
