Abstract :
A scheduling scheme for a partitioned integrated flight and propulsion control system is presented. The scheme is applied to a detailed non-linear simulation model of a future V/STOL aircraft concept, based on the Harrier airframe augmented with a Spey engine propulsion system. The scheduled IFPC system is shown to maintain airframe and engine performance over the low speed portion of the V/STOL flight envelope, while the partitioned structure of the IFPC system is shown to allow significant simplification of the scheduling required.
