The effects of conventional horizontal well delaying bottom water coming is limited. And once the water effluent, it can not be controlled. For this situation, we study a subsection technology to find water and shutoff it. First, subsection horizontal well reasonablely. And then adopt methods of this study to determine the water layers. At last, shut-off the water in these layers. This technology can find water and shut-off water effective, so it provides a more effective method to delay the speed of bottom water coming for oil field, and further enhance oil recovery.
