Abstract :
Base on Maxwell equations, a life-detector´s theoretic background is discussed, consisting of energy conversion of EM (electromagnetic) wave transmission and reception, and human body´s influence on energy conversion in the EM field. Then the detector has been constructed and some experiments are accomplished. The experimental results show that the detector can not only catch living signals of human beings, when someone goes into its effective EM field, but also distinguish human body from other objects.
