Abstract :
In order to improve the filtering effects and reduce the power loss of the passive power filter, a superconductive harmonic current absorber, which has the characteristics on holding back the fundamental component, reducing the fundamental loss, filtering specific-order harmonic and other high-order harmonic current, is presented in this paper. The circuit construction, the constraint relations of parameters, and the impedance frequency characteristics of the harmonic current absorber have been analyzed. The 12-pulse bridge rectifying circuit is taken as an example, and the filtering effects and power loss reduction of the harmonic current absorber are compared to the traditional passive power filters. The simulation results show that the superconductive harmonic current absorber has obvious superiority in the harmonic suppression and the reduction of power loss.
