Abstract :
Lasing from an erbium-implanted, high-Q toroidal microcavity coupled to a tapered fiber is demonstrated. Record threshold power as low as 4.5 muW and output power of 39.4 muW is achieved along with lasing wavelength control by variation of coupling condition
