Abstract :
Questionnaire tools from open source learning management systems (LMS) present a great number of features to customize the creation and assignment of question-based online tests, but the statistical analysis featured is very limited. This paper introduces stats engine, a tool to improve test reporting in online tests. Stats engine allows the teacher to use reports as a feedback to improve test planning and assessment; automatically label questions under skills a student can acquire and automatically classify students by taking into account their performance on previously found skills.
