Abstract :
The software testing process is an important stage in the software life cycle to improve software quality. An amount of software data and information can be obtained. Based on analyzing the source and the type of software, this paper describes several use of the defects data and explains how to estimate the density of the software by using the software defects data collected in the practical work, and to use GM model to predict and assess the software reliability.
