  • Abstract
    Since the Internet and World Wide Web enabled an information explosion, security issues of websites that publish the online information become more and more crucial. In this article, we proposed the design and implementation of a website security monitoring system based on users´ perspective. This system incorporates a popular search engine application called Nutch as one of the important components. The architecture of our system is described and then some implementation issues are exhibited in detail. The system can monitor webpages on different kinds of operating systems in a lightweight user-concern manner, and could send warnings or alarms to the administrators in case of need. Finally, the system has been tested and examined through practical experiments, and the evaluation results show both the feasibility and the efficiency.
