Abstract :
In present study, we researched the components of Camellia pericarp phenols extracts (CPPE) by HPLC methods and the results demonstrated that the major antioxidants were gallic acid, catechin and tannin. The total phenol contents of Camellia pericarp could arrive at 976 ± 13 lg/g (as caffeic acid) and was very rich. According to the optimization of emulsifiers (glycerol stearate) and synergist (ascorbic acid) for CPPE, the antioxidation experiment results in feed indicated that Camellia pericarp phenols was a good nature antioxidant and has application prospect in feed industry.
