  • Abstract
The complex of ESP and baghouse become popular for removing dust from coal-boiler smoke at power station in China. High voltage in ESP may generate ozone which will exert negative effect on PPS filter. So the lifetime of filter in baghouse will be shortened. In the paper, some systematic experiments are designed to find the effect of ozone concentration and contacting time on PPS filter. The experiment data and SEM images show that the filter break strength and brittleness are degraded, and some fibers are broken. The oxidation process is analyzed by chemical reaction also.
