Abstract :
This is a major question for everyone involved in introducing technological innovations in education. Governments in many countries are trying very hard by providing finances and industry on the other hand giving award and equipment in order to introduce ICT innovations in the education sector in a large scale. We can see pockets of ongoing innovations in the introduction of technology in education from last decade or so and most recently with the introduction of technology in distance education. Still it seems that there is a long way to go. The question is that if use of technology will ever happen in education as it happened in banking sector or e-government organizations? And do we really need to revolutionize the education sector? Or should we always remain in the process of evolution and keep moving as the technology changes.
