Abstract
An accurate and numerically efficient MPIE technique is developed for the analysis of shielded microstrip circuits. The method enables one to isolate the perturbational effects of the metallic side wall from the circuit response. Excellent agreements are observed in comparing the results of this method with measurements and other field-theoretical packages.
