Abstract
Microstrip antennas have been rigorously analyzed by the moment method. The most time-consuming part in the analysis is the two-dimensional integration for evaluation of the matrix elements. An asymptotic method of stationary phase is introduced. The computation time required for the matrix evaluation is drastically reduced over the conventional method.
