Abstract :
In preparation for the launch of the Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer (AMSR), we have been testing the AMSR ocean algorithm using observations from the TRMM Microwave Imager (TMI). The TMI retrievals of sea-surface temperature (SST) and wind speed are compared to buoy measurements and retrievals from other satellite sensors
