Abstract :
The use of technologically advanced lighting is increasing with the demand for better energy efficiency. Unfortunately, technological developments in the lighting industry are also increasing the incidence of interference from lighting appliances. This paper examines lighting interferences and compares them with EMC requirements and test results from electrical lighting and similar equipment Also, the first joint European EMC market surveillance campaign for energy saving lamps is introduced to the international EMC society
