Abstract :
We review the progress of photonic subsystems based upon parallel devices and components such as vertical cavity surface emitting laser and microlens arrays. This concept of ultraparallel formation will become one of key issues in future high speed and wide-band networks as well as large variety of optoelectronics systems.
