Abstract :
The Helsinki University of Technology Fully Polarimetric Radiometer system (HUT-FPoR) is described. The system comprises a 36.5 GHz fully polarimetric radiometer and a fully polarimetric, passive calibration standard. The characteristics of the radiometer and calibration target were determined. Results are presented from a wind vector experiment that was conducted in the Gulf of Finland
