Abstract :
An analytic formulation for calculation of the quasi-static propagation parameters of high-Tc conventional coplanar transmission lines is developed. The high-Tc superconconducting film has a thickness comparable to the London penetration depth and is described by the two-fluid model. The resistance and kinetic inductance per unit length of the line have been calculated, assuming a current distribution with a constant finite value in the regions at the film edges. Good agreement is obtained between the calculations and theoretical full-wave results.
