Abstract :
A simple and fast method for preparation of ethyl [18F]fluoroacetate which can be operated by remote control has been established, using distillation for purification. By this development, it has become possible to obtain ethyl [18F]fluoroacetate in a short synthesis time of 29 min and with a reproducible radiochemical yield of 28.6 plusmn 3.6 %, (decay corrected). The radiochemical purity of ethyl [18F]fluoroacetate was more than 95%.
