Abstract :
Due to the limitation of transmission distance of ZigBee wireless network and inferior ability to cross the barrier, in this paper a plan of mixed networking is put forward that combines wireless network and cable network. The mixed network uses the scheme combining ZigBee and power line carrier together with AT89S52, CC2430 ZigBee chip and LM1893 power line carrier chip. In the proposed net a simple communication protocol is defined, achieving the satisfactory communication of wireless network and cable network. Mixed network can be widely used in situations in which numerous obstacles are identified and long distance transmissions are required in circumstances such as buildings, workshops, mining fields, etc.
