Abstract :
Nonuniform transmission lines are encountered in high-speed VLSI circuits due to complex interconnect geometries and nonuniform electromagnetic coupling. Analysis of arbitrary nonuniform coupling advocates the need for a general and efficient numerical technique. This paper presents the analysis of coupled multiconductor lossy nonuniform transmission lines, using the highly efficient Asymptotic Waveform Evaluation technique.
