Abstract :
The small signal transfer function of the Boost converter with Constant Power Loads(CPLs) is derived and the condition of stability for the system is obtained. State feedback exact linearization and optimal tracking control technique are applied to control the system. The nonlinear control law is verified using SABER. The simulation results show that the nonlinear controller can make the system operation steadily during large disturbances in the power supply and the loads.
