It compares and analyses several kinds of general dispatching protocols in China, includes DL451, ModBus, ??4F, SC1801, SV, DNP3.0, IEC101, IEC104, IEC61970, etc., debates the problems of these protocols applied between Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) and Control center or between Control centers. To extending data source for dispatching, such as data incepted from protection relay system, is an important trend. And a modularization method to heighten the applicability of protocol-parse-software is presented, the method has been realized and operated in live field for more than 1 year.
