Abstract :
We show the implementation of a complete IEEE-1451 node working in a CAN network. The system has the ability to be reprogrammed through the same CAN network where it runs normally. Also we have developed a hardware and software tool in order to create the TEDS and to save it in an EEPROM allocated in the STIM
