Abstract :
As we know, the 802.11a/b/g wireless technology standards can provide a number of non-overlapping channels, and wireless mesh networks can take full advantage of available channels to improve network throughput. In this paper, according to the traffic characteristics of the wireless mesh networks, we use group-based management of multi-channel allocation method, and do some simulation experiments on OPNET modeler14.0. The final result shows that it can get better network throughput, compared with using single channel only.
