Abstract :
An analytical model and analysis method is proposed in this paper to analyze EMAT with complex PCB or FPC meander coil. The frequency-domain eddy current and Lorentz force in the specimen caused by the dynamic field and bias magnetic field were derived in terms of second vector potential, then the pulse time-domain response was obtained by FFT-IFFT method. An example was analyzed by the proposed method to verify its validity.
