Abstract :
The traffic flow is one of the important parameter of intelligent traffic system. Traffic flow detection system was introduced based on S3C2410, the basic principle of hardware, software and algorithm of traffic flow detection system were clarified. This paper presents an embedded image collection and processing system based on S3C2410 and SAA7111. The design procedure of software and hardware was given in detail. We have tested about a large number of image arrays under the environment of real road. Good result was achieved.
