Abstract :
The GTEM cell is proving a useful tool for characterizing the electromagnetic scattering of objects under laboratory conditions. In this contribution, we present an analytical model of the discontinuity posed by a conducting cube in the cell, evaluating the scattered fields that are compared with experimental data, showing very good agreement. Moreover, an analytical model of the fundamental quasi-TEM mode is proposed and compared with accurate numerical computation.
