  • Abstract
    The comparison principle of smooth degree about monotone decreasing sequence is put forward. Improved method of smooth degree about decreasing sequence is given, and proved in theory. The modeling mechanism of GM (1, 1) grey model is analyzed. The forecasting precision of grey model is improved by combining the methods of opposite direction accumulating algorithm and improved smooth degree of decreasing sequence. The validity of the method is proved by application example.
