Abstract :
A complex adaptive system is a complex, self-similar collection of interacting adaptive agents. The designing and creating of agent is important and intricate because complex adaptive system consists of a large number of agents which may divide into diversity types. The specification of agent in complex adaptive system using software architecture description language C2SADEL which aims at filing the gap between the analysis and design phases in agent-oriented methodologies is proposed in this paper. The specifications of agents are provided according to the trait of agent from different types in complex adaptive system respectively. Agents from same type can easily be created via subtyping even though there are some differences. The help of specification of agents to construct multi-agents systems is proved through some examples at last.
