This paper is concerned with the explicit parametric expression of the controller gain matrix in the linear MIMO state-variable feedback system design using eigenstructure assignment. A novel method of using singular value decomposition (SVD) is presented for the case when the sets of closed-loop and open-loop eigenvalues intersect
