The design of component-based workflow management system

Workflow technology can quickly adapt to changes in needs, providing great flexibility for the software system. Component Technology implements the code reuse by certain encapsulation, being regarded as one of the key factors of software reuse. The research work of this paper provides a theory by component technology and workflow technology combining, illustrating that component-based development of workflow system not only simplify the complexity of the process definition but also maintain the flexibility of the system.
