Abstract
CMA is an important equalization algorithm. CMA equalization in frequency domain is also worth studying. According to the work before, CMA was always used in the time domain but never in the frequency domain, because CMA requires that the input signal has a constant modulus feature, which is easy to achieve in the time domain but difficult in the frequency domain. A scheme is proposed in the paper, which makes use of CAZAC sequence as spreading code to implement the frequency domain equalization using CMA. We built CMA equalization system in frequency domain based on CP-CDMA using CAZAC sequence as Spreading Code. The simulation results show that this scheme has a very good performance and is suitable for Direct Sequence Spreading System (DSSS) with small Spreading Factor (SF) to achieve high speed symbol rate.
