Abstract :
With the increase in the number of motor vehicles, according to the traffic capacity problem in our country now days, 3DS MAX is used in the field of traffic simulation. This paper takes single intersection as a subject of research. Firstly, the car model, single intersection, lane and so on are created with 3DS MAX. Then, the simulation of cars that are passing the single intersection is realized with MaxScript built in 3DS MAX. Finally, take a single intersection in a north city for example, the capacity of this single intersection is validated, and a feasible and effective way in order to evaluate signal control results is provided.
