Abstract :
New technologies emerging in today´s vehicles are reviewed. The applications covered include hybrid and fuel cell vehicles, new fuel injection and combustion technologies for gasoline and diesel engines, and use of alternative fuels. The impact of new technologies on automotive safety systems and x-by-wire systems is also discussed
