Abstract :
Since driving range of electric vehicles is too short at present, generator set is needed to extend it. To achieve this goal, a generator set control method of range extender pure electric vehicles is provided here. Terminal voltage of battery, current of battery and discharge time is adopted as control parameters for generator set´s state control and transition. This control method is proved to be effective by experiments.
