  • Abstract
Instantaneous frequency is defined as the average of the frequencies present in the signal at a particular instant. To estimate instantaneous frequency, a window of N samples is taken at each time instant. In such techniques, N needs to be large enough. In this paper, we suggest autoregressive model of order 2 to estimate the instantaneous frequency. In this technique, N is not needed to be large. The over all complexity of this technique is linear in terms of signal length
