Abstract
A linear time varying (LTV) system perspective of a Krein space variant of the Beurling-Lax theorem is discussed, illuminating the nature of certain causal subspace families Kt⊂L2 (t,∞), t∈R . The theorem helps identify a framework for a natural, system oriented LTV generalization of Sarason´s interpolation problem, which is also solved
