Currently cool-thermal storage device is mainly used in large-scale air-conditioning system. The one adapted to small-scale air-conditioning system is still under developing. This paper introduces a set of residential central air-conditioning system, which is a small-scale ice storage air-conditioning system. Its advantage is depeaking the electricity grid load. Through theoretical calculation and experimental results of the heat transfer between the ice balls and the glycol solution, this ice storage tank is designed.
