Abstract :
Unmodeled dynamics has been divided into two types using the concept of relative degree, which has been found to be quite useful to discuss the robustness of model reference adaptive control systems. This idea is used to analyse the robustness of adaptive linearizable nonlinear systems with respect to unmodeled dynamics, and the conclusions are that these schemes are robust to type one modeling error as defined but not to type two, which extends the conclusions obtained in the linear cases
