Abstract :
In this paper, we give a comparative study on the performance of different hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) schemes with turbo codes in Rician fading channel with low rician K factor. The structure of turbo codes in 3GPP LTE standard and HARQ schemes based on rate compatible turbo codes (RCPT) are referred. The throughput and packet error rate (PER) performance of Type I, II and III HARQ schemes are considered. In addition, the results of AWGN channel are also considered as the reference. The simulations results proposed in this paper can give some valuable demonstrations and references for selection of HARQ schemes in Rician fading channel.
