  • Abstract
    By illuminating the problems of previous reliability evaluation algorithms, and according to the actual demands of engineering application, an improved reliability evaluation algorithm for distribution network is put forward in this paper. This algorithm needs no network equivalence process, and its principle is clear and succinct so as to easy programming. When only one load point is concerned, it needn´t to analyze fault results of all equipments, and can conclude the influence degree of pertinent equipments to certain load point so as to help the supplier to know which equipments is critical. This algorithm can easily cooperate with fault reconfiguration. It needs only widely used data format for the convenient data interface with engineering application, no adjacency matrix and special chain table are needed. Recursive search is used in the algorithm, which reduces the amount of programming and improves its efficiency.
